What are you thankful for?

Hello out there digi-friends! Megan here, bringing you a Thanksgiving Interview blog post! This year my kids are at the age where they can comprehend (well, at least a little) what Thanksgiving is all about. They are learning bits and pieces in school and have been making all kinds of Thanksgiving crafts. So, now that they are old enough I’m curious to know what they are thankful for and what they think about this wonderful holiday. It would be great to see how much (or how little) their answers change each Thanksgiving as they get older and to have it all recorded so that they can read all their answers when they are all grown up!

I think interviewing someone each year for Thanksgiving is a great idea and also a good way to get some discussions started. And how fun would it be to see what different answers they will have each year. So, lets give this a try. I already asked my children some questions and I also got some of the other maniacs to join along. Give it a try with us!! And if you feel like it share what your friends or family are thankful for in our comment section, especially kids answers, those are always cute! Ok, here goes…

What a great idea! :) This year we are doing a Blessings tree (on our wall) with construction paper leaves. And each day we write on one leaf what we are thankful for. And our tree is getting covered in leaves! I’ll be sure to scrap this one!
